James, a seasoned construction professional since 2008, transitioned from hands-on work to a project coordinator role after graduating with Distinction in Integrated Engineering from UBC. With a focus on large-scale projects in commercial, institutional, and residential sectors, he brings a meticulous eye for detail and extensive construction knowledge. James has successfully managed projects including Translink maintenance facilities, BC Ferries improvements and large residential developments. His expertise spans scheduling, constructability, quality management, and financial forecasting, bolstered by experience in Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management contracts for both public and private clients. Extracurricular/Volunteer
Volunteering and athletics are a large part of my life. I am a huge supporter of participating in sports, and have played on a variety of teams since I was 6. As a result I have volunteered at many sporting events. Additionally, I try to give back as much as possible to my community and others through volunteering opportunities, including organizations such as the Bruce Denniston Bone Marrow Society and Help, Learn and Discover. Furthermore, I have fund raised money for charities, such as Movember Foundation and Right to Play through events I created and organized.
